I stayed home from work today for I have not felt this bad in years!! I went to the MD and I have th *#*# flu!!!!!!! Yes, very challenging time for the flu, but I think I will survive.

I said I was not going to watch The Biggest Loser again (for I hated it for so long that men always won; but that changed). As I am sewing, it is on my TV and of course tears are flowing out of my eyes. It always makes me cry.........what an awesome show. Love it, so I guess now I am hooked again in watching it.

Thank you preschool, for without you Trinity would not be sitting for a photo. Although she is rolling her eyes, she is sitting!!!! AWESOME!!! My $$$ is paying off.

Well, it didn't suck as bad as I thought. Although, she REFUSED to wear any costume, so she went as BIRTH CONTROL....I mean, Mamma's Angel.

The EVE of another year of terror!

Last year Trinity hated Halloween (like me, I hate this holiday) and I had to fight her to wear a costume.

Same is true for this year. We went to her school's fall festival tonight nd she fought me and said "I dont wike it" and would only wear the Thomas hat...Anyhoo...her teacher talked her into wearing the outfit for about 3 minutes.

Tomorrow night will suck...I just know it.

I am currently dealing with 4 of the 10, so I guess it is okay to feel exhausted, tired and be pissy at times too. Although, I truly feel fine, just many HUGE life changes all at once. In 5 months time I went from being a stay at home mom in MO, to being a full time working mom of 2, kids and mommy having to adjust to daycare, moving back home, and marital event changing. Both kids are doing awesome with all the changes and honestly, I am too. I love life and know that God will handle ALL things, that is why I truly have peace in all these storms of life.

Should be interesting to see my BLOG post a year from now............who knows where it will all be. Thanks for following my life journey..................

Halloween is going to suck....again!

Yes, I know this was the caption I posted this time last year, but it will suck. Trinity is obsessed with "tomas da twain". So, I borrowed my precious nephew's costume from last year. Trinity will only wear the hat and that is all. She loves the stupid thing. She wants me to (and of course I do) wear the Thomas part around the house. I told her that she must wear the train part or no candy and she said "hat only". Oh migh.............................

WHY????

These are some WHYs that have occurred to me recently....If you can answer them, please let me know.

1. Why do the (greeters??not sure their title) at Sam's act like they can survey your whole basket, look at the receipt, and know that all things were purchased and nothing was stolen?

2. Referring to #1 again. What is their purpose? Does Sam's save $$$ because they mark on your receipt and intimidate at thief?

3. Why are all pharmacy's in the back of the store, causing sick people to spread their germs to the WHOLE store?

Sneeze into your sleeve friends!

I am now edumacated on infection prevention in the hospital setting after going to a great seminar this past week. It has been found that truly when you sneeze or cough into your sleeve, the fabric catches your germs, hence preventing them to stay airborne which when inhaled causes you to get the flu. This is a funny, but true site.

I learned sooooo much and it is so fun to watch 50 germ freaks, for no one shook hands and each of us used about 20 gallons of alcohol gel in 2 days.

First love!

Oh migh....Trinity has met her FIRST LOVE. His name is Daniel and is in her class. At night when we close her door, she screams under the base "I wanna see Daniel". Then in the morning when she is eating she says "I wanna see Daniel". Then when we get to school she runs into her room to see him. Today when I picked her up, he ran to the door and hugged her and said "bye Twinitee". She kissed him on the mouth and said "bye Daniel". EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE germs....just kidding about the germs.

My little girl is smooching at school at the age of 2 years 6 months old? Oh well, at least he is a cutie with blonde hair and his parents seem nice.

Then "little man" Conner smiles and laughs at women for he is flirting too.

What is up with my kiddos?

Today T and I had to go to the county health department to get her a flu shot for her pedi was out of them. (Just imagine, Trinity who likes to lick all things and act like a "pupa", GERMS in an unkept environment, and me standing in the corner refusing to sit my hinney down in those chairs that scream STD, FLU, E. COLI, etc. on them!) She was actually good and did not lick too many things.

She went to school and ran into her class where they were in quiet story time. She yelled "Twiniteeeee got shot in da leg!". She was so proud and was trying to take off her pants to show them where it was.

One more quick thing...I am so thankful I am called "HA LISA" at work by the Spanish speaking only workers. I love it when they say "ola HaLisa".....YES, Mamma is home!

Who knew...MY CHILD would love to be so gross! She still licks the floors of public places, luggage at airports, and the other day I saw her licking the sidewalk where there was some gum. I will say though, she has an AWESOME immune system.

Little precious man!

Here is my buddy boy. I took him to get those mean shots today for he is 4 months old. He wts. 14 lbs. and is long. As most of you know, I never remember the kid's lengths for I never care. I do not remember birth length nor ever ask how long people's babies are. He laughed at the MD and the nurses and was so happy. Even after the shots. I may have another child of steel without pain receptors.

I am soooo excited that he can wear his overalls. I have always said that I want a little boy (well actually 4 little boys) in denim overalls with a baseball cap on. He is so wonderful!

Picture Day at school

Today was picture day so I was able to "practice" with Trinity for she and Conner had their photo made together. It should be something to see!!! They said that she did NOT throw him off her lap nor say "no bebe Coer"...PROGRESS in session!!!

She is really starting to try to help and loves to make him laugh. It is fun to watch them together.

Trinity was sitting on her potty when she heard the down pour of rain. She took off to go outside and I caught her and brought her inside. Well.................when it died down, she went back to "da poddie", and all of a sudden she jumped up and ran for the back down screaming "it wayning" and here she is. (do not look at our weeds!!!). Her pants came off so she played in the backyard and got soaked and LOVED every minute of it!

Sorry to all of you that I used to email often whether it be jokes, personal hellos, etc. but I have been busy with my new life. Matt is having to be mom while he is here and taking the kids to school and picking them up. I have been working many hours, but am learning alot and loving it. When I get home I literally eat whatever I can get my hands on, bathe kids, get them ready for the next day, then feed and rock Conner to sleep. I miss those precious special infant moments with him that I will not get, that I was able to do with Trinity so I make sure I rock him to sleep at night.

I promise to BLOG more and email more in the near future, just lots going on now.

My FAVORITE part of the day!

I love my precious angels and love to come home to them. Conner is smiling and laughing so much; BIG SHOCKER.....Trinity is still so silly and as you can see below, hides from the camera.

Work is going great. (2nd week only) I truly feel that I am supported 100% and am being backed by administration in getting what I need to succeed. I really appreciate them and all their desires to send me to whatever trianing I need to be a success which I am sure most of you have been in institutions like I have before, and not had this support.

It is still surreal to me to be back HOME in Texas and thank God everyday I am here. That is all for now...........

1st Day of Work

I started work today and honestly I was so busy meeting new faces and being told "wow, you are going to be a busy woman", that I truly did not miss my kids. Is that bad or was it the PERFECT time for me to return to work? I know that when I hear that Conner took his first steps, etc. and if I miss them that will hurt, but it is worth it to me to allow my kids to be back in Texas so therefore I can handle anything!

I will be working in an area that is being looked at intensely right now for the hospital accreditation companies are due for a visit.....no stress at all!!! none......yeah right.

I am ready for the challenge and feel very blessed to be given a chance at a position like this.

Playing possum and rolling over

Today at school they said that he was fussy and was spitting up alot and both kids have the "daycare junk" (runny nose, etc.) so I picked him up to come home and rest. As you can see above, he played "possum" for when he came home he laughed at me (and spit up alot too). He is awesome!

He is now turning over from his back to his stomach. It is so funny to watch him. He kicks his legs real fast and builds up momentum and then flips over. He should not be doing this at 12 weeks....too soon!!

My little precious man started school today. It sucked to be honest, but I feel very comfortable with the staff that will be loving on him throughout the day.

Lame cartoon

Trinity is not a typical child in many ways, but one big way is she does not like typical GIRL things. She does not play with dolls or princess items. She prefers "airpanes", "curs", "twains", and anything else destructive. She is obsessed with watching Thomas the Train which is by far the lamest children's video I have ever seen. Oddly enough..............it keeps her attention span longer than most videos, so for that, she watches it often.

The little song is always stuck in my head too so that makes for a fun day.
